Help!!!!!!anyone With Electrical Experience For S14

Ok here's whats up. I have a 97 240sx and started having problems with the electrical system, radio was shorting out lights weren't coming on. My mechanic replaced the alternator everything was good for about two days then it went back to square one. I'm going to have the electrical system checked tommorow as of right now the battery is dead car wont start. Did anyone have similar problems with their S14. I'm thinking that the alternator I got might be bad. Well anyone with any info please reply

check the wire coming out of the alternator and going to the battery.... also wiggle the connection plug on the battery the RED plug that pluggs everyting to the positive of the battery.. mine comes loose and screws everything up...

turns out i didnt need to replace alternator. Problem was in fusible link box one of the screws for one of the main fuses got loose so contact wasnt constant. I was the one that messed that up a few weeks ago. everything is good now so at least my alternator gonna run for a long time.
