Does anyone have step by step to installing HID's to the headlights and foglights to my 06 M35X and where can I get good quality HID's and not cheap stuf?

Can I just change the bulbs to my headlights since they are HID's already?

Do I have to splice into my Foglight wiring to add HID's?

Factory lighting is just not bright enough for me!

Trying to blind some drivers? I haven't seen any step by step instructions but the biggest concern would be if the bulbs would seat properly without any rattling (seen plenty of issues with people doing the same thing at my previous forum). Usually, the manufacturer will provide spacers/fittings to solve this problem on a car by car basis. Good luck to you

Not sure what you mean by just replacing your headlights. The stock temp rating is going to be the best for visibility and if you go up in color you're sacrifice the performance of the bulb. You're best bet is to add on the system and draw power from your fog lights (not your headlight power source). I wouldn't know the specifics without looking at the wiring schematics, but that's a high level suggestion.

Yes, all you need to do is purchase the D2S replacement bulbs to whatever color temp you prefer. And then purchase a HID conversion kit H11 with the matching color temp of your low beams if you wish.

Removal of the low beam bulbs

1. Remove your front wheel2. Remove the plastic wheel well cover3. You can get to your low beam housing from there.4. Remove the cap on the housing (twist off)5. Behind the cap is your light connector, twist the connector in the right direction to remove the bulb.6. Pop the bulb out and replace it with your new bulb (be sure not to put any fingerprints on the bulb or it may blow) if you happen to touch it by accident no problem just clean it off with some household alcohole.easy as that!!

You do not have to splice any wire to install the fog light conversion kit, its plug and play, pretty easy. You dont have to remove the bumper either, just find a place under the car close to the fog lights to mount your ballast.

This link is where you can find your bulb sizeshttp://www.sylvania.com/Consum...s.htm

This link is where i purchase my bulbs and kit, has been good so far for me.
