hey everyone i just bought an Apexi turbo timer. the reason i decided on this unit was that there was a narrowband A/F ratio calculator built into it.

but upon reading the instructions they say :

" Caution: Vehicles that can not utilize the A/F function -Titanium type O2 sensor vehicle ( BNR32 Skyline GT-R, and (R)PS13 Silvia/180sx (91-93)"

- also it says that vehicle that cannot use the A/F function will also be unable to use the autocountdown function. IS THIS ALSO TRUE??!!?!

Does anyone with an S13 Sr in an S13 chassis have the Apexi unit, and if you do does the A/F function work? is this some weird fluke from Apexi or are the instructions right and i can't use the A/F function?

i owuld like to know so that if its true than i will return it before i install it. i would hate to find out after i install!

thank you all

I have the APEXi unit and when using the timer function I set it to 2n1 which is 2minutes/normal/10seconds I belive and it works fine. As for the narrowband, it shows values but I don't know whether thay are correct or not.

My cars been running like crap, my turbo isn't working right. Its down right now to fix its various problems. Putting a bigger turbo on, putting on my silvia front, painting the whole thing. Its becoming a lot of work.

Wasn't there. I've been laying low while my car has been stuck in the garage.
