I am not familier with their product but first see if they have online instruction for it. If not snap a shot and post it and I will see if I can figure out what goes to what.

Ok I can see them , um in picture 2 it looks like the instuctions laying under the wires???

I know the red wire goes to the battery and the black wire goes to a good ground source as far as the other three I would assume they go to the fan , what is at the end of the gray cable?

the temp probe, what about all of those wires going from that connector that goes into the thermostat? btw the instrustions are for the fan itself the thermostat didnt come with any

Well from looking at it you really only have 5 wires to hook up from that connector. The red is directly connected to the battery, the black is connected to a ground, that leaves 3 wires. 1 will go to the switched power source i.e. ignition switch . the other 2 will go to the fan.

I bet you could get some assistance and a better answer if you give these guys a call in the morning.http://www.perma-cool.com/faq/general.html#call

ok i figured out which goto where lol now the blue one goes to the ac relay or something like that, cause i found instrustions, it says to use the wire tap provided. wtf is a wire tap?

its the plastic thing with a peice of metal in it that peirces the wires then folds over and closes.

BTW if you wire this fan to your A/C relay it will only come on when the A/C is on.

ok, and then about wiring, do i solder them? or what? it comes with little tubes that have metal inside them, but they dont seem like they'd hold the wires in too well

BTW is this blue thing the thing u were talking about?

Yep thats the wire tap. yes you should soldier your wires together for good contact, and thinking about the whole A/C relay thing, The blue wire probably does go to the A/C relay to operate the fan constantly or at a higher speed when the A/C is on. The temp sensor allows it to come on for temp reasons since it is wired to the battery. In this set up be aware the fan will remain on sometimes when the key is shut off till the temp lowers on the sensor. It depends on the temp of the cooling system. Of course you could wire your red wire to a ignition switched source, just be sure the suppling wires are of the smae gauge as the fan wires so as not to over heat the circuit.

When ever I do an electrical repair like this. I use skinless but connectors to hold the wires together. I place my iron against the butt connector to heat it up as well as the wires inside. Then apply solider to the butt connector and watch for it to flow smoothly into the wires. you can tell when this is going to happen as the metal on the butt connector will flash over when the heat range is right. at that point the sloider will flow smoothly. Be fore I joint the wires together in the butt connector I slide heat shrink onto the wire and away from the joint [so it doesnt shrink from the heat]. After the solider is done I blow on the joint to cool it down so I can slide the heat shrink over it and not have it shrink prematurely from excess heat. I then switch tips on my iron and heat the shrink to seal the joint. I have a snap-on butane iron with several attachements, I realize you may not have something like this so a hair dryer or something like that will work to shrink it. You can use a lighter but have to be very carful to not burn the heat shrink. After that I go one step further and apply 3M self bonding electrical tape. This is not standard electrical tape. It is a brownish color tape that is sticky on both side but only really to itself. when you properly wrap a wire with it there is no chance moisture cab get into the joint.

use tie wraps to attach them to the existing harnesses to keep them up and out of the way.
