HELP Alarm will not go off, Car will not start (1995 J30)

My alarm will not go off. The only way I can get it to stop is take off the battery cable. Usually inserting the key eliminates this, but not this time. I need a response fast or I am going to miss work for a few days.

check your fuses under the hood. this has happened to me too i have a viper alaarm and my ignition fuse blew.

did you lock and then unlock with the key in the drivers door ??Thats all I had to do.Just inserting the key dint.

I did those things. Seems all the fuses are ok. I simply opened my trunk with the key and it stopped. it has been doing some wierd things lately.

It is most likey a door latch problem. Do a search.
