Okay I have started my waterpump / timing belt change due to pump completely failing today and dumping out the weep holes.

My hard A/C line goes right across the drivers side top timing belt cover and I just can't seem a way to get it off.

I pulled so hard on the A/C line that I actually started to hear a hiss sound and I can see a bit of refriderant oil seeped out at the compresser.

What am I missing here please?

The only thing I can think of here is to unbolt the compressor and move it forward a few inches to get the cover off...

Moving the compressor did the trick.. I removed 3 bolts and just loosened the front bottom one so I could rotate the compressor forward..
