thinking about getting another 240 but the guy said it needs a fuel pump.. not sure if its that or not went to check it out today and it looked in pretty good condition for a northern car, its a 91 or 92 dont remember but its all stock and when i started it up it ran for like 3-4 seconds then died out did it again and gave it some gas and it just died so im just wondering wat it could be i have a 90 for parts that im going to scrap after i take some parts that i need (also will sell the parts i dont use on it *uncracked dash*etc) so any info would helpbroke college student so...

Could be a bad fuel pump ... does the pump sound noisier than usual? Also, maybe a clogged up fuel filter. Throttle position sensor could be bad too. It's so hard to diagnose any car on the internet. Eh, hope this gives you a starting point.

i dont remember hearing the fuel pump but im just iffy about getting it cause i dont want any surprises haha but for the price i just might, is the maf/filter/pump from ka24e work with the de? should right...
