easy way is to push the piston in while cracking the bleeder screw.

Grab a C-Clamp (can be found in any tool shop) and use that to push on the piston (push on your old brake pads so your not gonna ef up ur new ones or the piston)

i call it, "the cube". its got a 3/8 square hole on each side...so it attaches to a extension. the protrusions on each side are the patterns for different types of pistons. u ratchet it while putting pressure on it.

I just use my beastly hands!

not really, but I have used a crowbar, a big wrench used like a crowbar, an old brake rotor...you can use lots of things.

I mean, when you're taking the calipers off, i'd say it's easiest to wedge something in there so they don't close as all, just for the next time you do it.

I guess if nothing like that works, freakin just loosen the bleeder like said before...I just hate that cause you have to deal with fluid...and possibly bleed the caliper after you put it back on.

they havfe a tool for pushing the piston back in but a clamp will do. take off your brake fluid cap though to relieve pressure or it'll be hard going. i have the cube for the rears and it rocks, i've used it on a bunch of different cars and it makes it easy

Wow, that cube would have helped out a bunch when I was doing my rear brakes. Those pistons were b*tches to turn

Yeah, where can we get this cube of greatness? All my years as a tech, I've always used pliers, small crowbar (i know... but it works), and anything that can turn it! Time to add this "cube" to my collection
