OK... I bought a replacement air filter for my V today, went to put it in and I can't figure out how to get the housing open. It's uhm,... oriented kinda different from what I'm used to.
I'm sure there's something little I'm missing and I'm going to feel horribly stupid afterwards, but... anyone care to tell me how to get it open so I can replace it?

there are metal clips on the edges ....I beleive 4.....I would look for you but I don't have the stock air box

EV there are 2 bace notches on the front of the air box looking right at you. When you look straight on the air filter come out of the little rectangle front piece of the air cleaner just push in the side and viola easy access to you air cleaner.

Page MA-16 of the Versa repair manual has the pictures and the procedures for air filter replacement.

Thanks, Madness. I guess my problem was that I thought the top side pieces were the clips. Didn't think to look BEHIND that piece of plastic.
