I have an '04 G35 coupe. I'm having problems with my stereo system. When I play the FM/AM mode, the sound comes through all of the speakers fine. But when I play CD's, the sound on the driver/left side sounds muffled and like static. I thought it was a loose connection but when I explained this to the Infiniti dealer here in Albuquerque, he said I need to replace the entire unit, i.e., the stereo not the speakers and quoted me a repair and replacement fee of over $500. Ouch! Anybody know of a reputable, trustworthy company who sells discounted audio equipment?

We would help you even if you weren't a girl!

Anyway, 03-04 stereo head decks are known to flake out...sucks.

Try these guys. They are a NICO sponsor and will get you going.

Yeah, go through those guys joe just mentioned. If you were to buy a new CD player from Best Buy or some place, you'd also have to spend just under $300 to get a new trim piece so it would fit and new climate controls.

I just took out my 2004 G35 Coupe radio and I'm selling it. Works perfectly.

Mine is 6MT so the dash trim is silver instead of brown. Let me know if you are interested.

$150 + shipping

Edit: You didn't mention if it's Bose. Mine is Bose.
