I'm gonna be picking up new tires for my stock 240 wheels shortly and I had a question, I was wondering if a 225 tire would fit on stock s14 SE alloy wheels? anyone??

thats what I run on my wheels. The minor increase in tread size actually makes them look alot wider. If i were you, I would get them. get 225/50 's. I have BFG sports and they're pretty grippy.

Stock just about the perfect size for the stock rim is 205. I might go up to 215 on the stock 6.5'' rims. I think 225 might be pushing it. I would stick with 215/50 tires on the stock rims.

Now I think that 225 on a 7 or 7.5 rim is an excellent fit on the S14. I've always wanted a 225/45-17x7.5 setup on mine.

I had 225-55-16 all round on my s14 when I ran stock wheels, I had it slammed to with no rubbing.

Wider than stock tires will actually hurt performance, just FYI.

If you want wider, I'd say find some Z32 TT rears for all around.

youre far better off running 205/55/16

some 225s arent even rated to fit a 6.5 inch wide wheel

id stick with the 205, itll feel better anyway, you can move to a wider tire when you get new wheels
