I know everyone is sick of this and there are many different posts already on this... Shame on me. BUT I am going to be getting an intake, no rush except I want it really bad and I am sick of waiting. No the spoiler and the grill weren't enough, so it's come down to:

K and N vs. Injen (for the 3.5)- close in price

So please leave your thoughts and comments on what you think I should do, which one I should pick if any. I AM looking for opinions so feel free to post away.

P.S- Purchasing on Monday/tuesday of this week coming up!

You've seen one, you've seen 'em all. All the intakes are the same, with the exception of the negligibly useful "air ram" on the K&N. Get whichever is cheapest. I'd suggest the Fujita, actually...

There has been a lot of info on this already. People will post what they think about the intake they got and honestly, it's all opinions...Not Fact. The fact of the matter is that all the products do the same thing; maximize airflow. I have the Injen and I bought it because it was the first one that came out for the 3.5 and I didn't want to wait for the other makers to get off of their a$$ and come out with something. I'm sure other people will chime in on this thread telling you the same thing whether it is a K&N, Fujita, etc. It's all a matter of preference so I'm sure what ever you pic, it'll be good for your coupe.

True, but some look better. My polished Injen looks great under the hood as does the new blue filter! Basically, though, it's pick whichever one you like - they are all free-flowing with almost identical elements and tube sizes, so not much difference between them.

If price doesn't matter I'd say go with AEMif you're not looking to spend a ton I'd say go with Fujita or Injen

so... I took the plunge and just bought myself an Injen intake. I get in on Friday of this week and hope that it meets my expectations which are to :- improve sound- improve throttle response- hopefully better fuel economy- hopefully better performance (hp wise)

I will let everyone know how it turns out. Who knows I might have to post pictures up just because it's addicting!

This man speaks the truth! And as to the third item on your list, it could technically improve your fuel economy, but once you hear that sound, you'll get addicted and never wanna let off the throttle. After putting on my exhaust and intake my mileage has actually gone down becuase of this

Ok... I thought I was going to go with a Fujita until I heard about said blue filter... what is this blue filter and is it for Injen intakes only? Because if so, I will totally end up getting an Injen. lol I know that sound stupid but I don't care.

Well consider it a good thing you didn't get the Fujita. I ordered one about 3 weeks ago and its on backorder(like always) for another 2 or 3. Oh well it just builds the anticipation for me. I got it for a sweet deal. $159. its now 200 again though.

So I got my intake. Going to install it in about an hour or two. So far the weather looks pretty good. Did anyone get the Injen license plate cover with their intake? Because mine did not come with one...

WOW. The car feels completely different. The engine note has definitely improved. I also think that their has been an improvement in power as well. I took the car on the highway and just started passing people, they would look over before I was even beside them. They could hear the engine. It sounds more similar to the G! . I am a happy modder right now, thanks everyone. The Injen I would recommend.
