So, if it cranked, it turned over. But, if it tries, but just won't, then I guess it doesn't turn over. I'm confused.
If the engine rotates (spins) when you engage the starter, then the guys are right - check the fuel pressure.
If the engine doesn't rotate - dead battery, dead starter motor or solenoid, or leaking fuel injector causing the affected cylinder to hydrolock.
If it's hydrolocked, it'll likely start in the morning (fuel will have seeped past the rings freeing the engine). The injector will need to be addressed and oil changed.
