Help 93 tt starting problems

I recently bought a 93 tt without a key..**dont ask** when i go to start the car the motor does not turn over...can someone help plz.......i replaced the starter relay but i think it might be the security system......any hints to possible problem... please help...

Does the security light flash when you try to start it? Is the fuel pump pumping? The battery charged?
