My friend wants me to buy his 240 it doesnt run very well it loses compression andits got some bad rust spots i want another 240 so i wanna buy it but how much should i spend he wants a grand i dont think its worth it and what would be the cause of the loss of compression

a grand?? for a rusted out, barely running 240??

shoot you can get running ones with no rust for less than that.
