My 92q steering is so light that i have too drive with two fingers on the steering wheel in order to have some control. everthing seems to be in working order and i cant find anything loose.can anyone give me any clues as to what is going on.

By the way i replaced the power steering high pressure hose about two months ago. i believe the steering was light then too.

also would there be difference between the high pressure hose on the reggular q and the one on an active q?

thanks

Use FSM to diagnose the variable speed steering computer assembly.

The same zero to 5 volt signal that drives the speedometer is translated into a variable duty cycle control voltage [inside steering computer module]on the PS rack steering pressure solenoid.
