HELP! 90' 240 STOLEN!

Late sometime wednesday, the 25th, after 10pm my car was stolen from my apartment complex in denver, co right around highway 36 and i-25...i've filed a police report and all that jazz but just plz plz plz let me know if you happen to see her cruising around at all

Bright Red 1990 240sxRedtop SR20DE-T 5spd17inch chrome finished MBMotoring Rev's all the way around apexi n1 exhaustsportline dropbunch more mods but the ones i just listed will help identify itnothing important inside the car but the important part is that my s13 is gone!

ok so my debit card from us bank was in the car and i went to them and they said that whoever stole my car is using my card to purchase things (probably gas) from a shell station on chambers road in aurora! the info they gave me is SHELL / 4570 Chambers so now i just have to find out if there is a SHELL station at that address or maybe 4570 is some kind of corporate number...either way, if i can get the detective working my case to look at the video footage that day then i might be in luck!

so there is a shell station in denver at that address, only problem is the indian guy that answered the phone can barely speak english, mostly what i got out of the conversation was that they do not have any cameras there so i guess i just wait to see if the guy uses the card at a place that actually has cameras...

denver huh, im in az maybe hes heading to mexico, 240's stand out to me so ill keep an eye out, anything on the car that would help identify it, pumber stickers scratch's, dents, cuz the plate could of been changed.

damn.. that has to suck.. hopefully he does use the card and the place has cameras... damn arseholes... definitely need to be taught a lesson...

honda_killer - the driver side door is a slightly different shade of red, there's a protected by pursuit security systems sticker on the passenger side (obviously it wasn't protected), on the upper corner of the passenger side rear corner there are some black scrapes, the trunk lock doesn't have the black ring around it and it's kinda loose, and i took the center caps off the front rims...other than that no big stickers or goofy antenna or anything to help identify it...i'd take pix in more detail to post here but i obviously can't do that:< thx honda_killer and srdrps for ur concern and help! to my knowledge he hasn't used my card anymore, i still got 5 grand left on the loan for the car it'd be a shame to be paying for a car that i don't have in my possession!

just had liability on it since i have sr22, the full coverage insurance woulda been so expensive i woulda spent more money on the insurance than the car books at within a couple months...im sol

The restitution hearing is in a little over a week and I have to send in all pictures I have of the car before/after the theft and I have to provide information (receipts or internet prices) on all parts damaged etc. Based on a quote from a local glass shop it'd cost around $3k just for glass alone brand new including install...we all know that I don't have to buy everything for this car brand new or pay people to install anything so my favor to ask of everybody on NICO who reads this is...can we compile a firm ballpark pricelist that I can send to court for the parts missing? So far off the top of my head I know I'll need -

TurboIntakeExhaustECUACP/SBrake Master CylinderRadiator/FanSpark PlugsWiring HarnessIntercoolerBatteryAll Body PanelsRimsBack SeatsGaugesStereoDashboardBrakes (musta been using that e-brake some)GlassSome upholstery and minor plastic buttons and panels

Well I'm guessing I'll need at least $30k to buy everything brand new again and the car isn't worth $2k so I may just ask for what I paid for the car ($5k)...any suggestions or tips would be great! I appreciate all help and I'm not necessarily against parting out what things were left intact once this is all said and done...the sr20 had "70k" on it...I think it might be easiest to just get as much money as possible out of this guy...scrap/part the car and then buy another s-chassis...I am pretty partial to this particular one though...I love those pignose coupes:> THANKS!

Man I feel your pain i woulnt be able to see one of my beloved s13's in such horrific conditions... so i take it that the crooks are in jail right? take everything you can from these SOB's if possible go find out where they live and kick some mo fo a$$!!!!!!!!!!!! seriously! i feel youre pain!

also need tail lights KEEP THE CAR!!! Get as much money out of it as you can. PERFECT PROJECT CAR!!!!!!! With all of the that you can milk out of those punks, I would suggest a right-hand drive clip, with W-I-D-E - B-O-D-Y REAR QUARTER PANELS. Do what you would like with your current motor, sell it, rebuild it, or keep in case you need for extra parts if you decide to get another motor. Good luck on whatever you choose to do. Over all don't let anyone leave you to be hanging witout a dope @$$ piggy. Just get one over on them... benefit from your recent loss. G.L. MAN

Holy **** man, I can see why they would steal parts, but why maul the body and etc?

So did you find the crooks or just the car? Details! Look at the bright side, atleast you have the most import parts, the engine and chassis. Good luck man.

Edit: I have a JDM SR S13 speedo I need to get rid of if you're interested.

well it's been a couple years but sorry i didn't keep watching the thread guys. i ended up selling the 240 for $600 and to this day i'm still paying the car off. at the time that i got it back i think i had my 01 cobra (which ended up throwing a rod on me and with no tools or money to fix it i just traded it in for a 07 civic) so now i'm spending every day waiting until i can get my hands on another s13
