Help:89 240sx front speakers wont work...

When i bought the car it had the stock tape deck in it and all of the speakers worked front and rear.....Then i took my old cd player and put it in and my front speakers wouldnt work only the rear speakers worked so i put the stock tape deck back in and front and rear speakers worked so i just figured that the cd player head unit that i had was bad...Well i went last night and bought a nicer Cd player and hooked it back up and the front speakers still dont work. All of the wireing has been double checked and everything is wired in right...It kind of sucks only having the rear speakers but i guess it is better than haveing nothing..Anyone else have this problem and have a fix for it

does it say "active speaker" anywhere on your car?

Yes all o fthe speaker covers say "active speaker" on them...I have replaced the rear speakers from stock to kenwood but the front door speakers are still stock....

they need a rewire to bypass the stock amp.
