I'm running outlaw 2800 calipers, they are a direct bolt on but require and hub adapter machined to fit a generic outlaw or wilwood vented race rotor, I think it was 11" x .81, here si a guy that sells the complete outlaw kit or you can buy the hats and gett eh calipers and rotors directly yourselfhttp://www.outlawbrakes.com/brakes.htmland arizone z car sells the complete wilwood kit but you need 17's to slear them, the outlaws will fit inside a 15" wheelshttp://arizonazcar.com/brake.html

Hello, think you for your infomation on the outlaw brake set-up just a few key questions. What year cobra? When I ask for the calipers and rotors I just ask for the OUTLAW 2800 series ones? From the web site you sent (and thank you very much ,very helpful) I can buy the hub adapter/hats? Do the brake lines from the Z match the cobra calipers or do u need to modify them? Once again thnx!

do not get sonfused, the outlaw site outlines 3 different brake setups, the outlaw kit requires the use of a 2800 series outlay brake caliper, these can be bought frm any outlaw brakes distributor, the guy at that site is one of many and I honestly do not know if his price is high low or inbetween, and he also sells the brake lines needed for the conversion, it might be worth the full conversion? you will need 15" wheels to clear the outlaw brakes, the cobra brake conversion is completely different and is sold by ross at modern motorsports he's a good guy and has very fast turnaround and offers some highly specialized pieces that might seem a but steep but they are high quality pieces and he does stand behind his product, back on track the cobra kit I believe requires a 17" wheel to clear them and at that point converting to a standard 5 lug could be a big cost saving when shopping for 17" wheels

Go to http://www.discoveryparts.com

They make a sweet conversion kit for the Z that runs Z32 fronts and rears.

Call their 800 number and ask for "Ron"... tell him that you saw this post and he will take care of you.

the kit used to be listed on their website, I seem to recall it was about $1k and you had to supply your own callipers and rotors? which makes it one of the most expensive conversions, they are great people with excelent customer service, one of their guy's helped me diagnose a stuck afm that was driving me nuts, I still have their stickers on my fenders
