Hello everyone i have a 1991 240sx. It has been running good since i bought it more than a year ago. It is a manual. I don't have to press in the clutch to start the car. and the car also has a push start button. Currently the car does not start. The car has no power to the ignition, so the cluster does not light up to start the car. The ecu doesn't turn on so i can't check the code. The pw window and turn signal don't work either. but the radio and the headlights, and interior lights work.
I check the inside fuse and they are good. Battery is good and the terminal and connections are good, alternator is new. Starter works when i press my push start button, it cranks. The ignition seems to work because i did a continuity test with a rig light bulb to check. I searched the forum and i think it may be one of the relays in the engine bay or the relay next to the battery. But is there a way to test these relays. I also read about the tcu being a problem. I really don't know why my car won't start. last week i turned on the car and after 3 minutes the car died. Been trying to figure it out.
Im really stumped now and i need yours guys help. It's weird, the cars has been siting for almost 2 weeks. and im about to start school soon. it is my dd. please guide me to get it running again. thank you.
