HELP 2012 rogue problem w/remote start and intelli key

I just got this car for my daughter and the dealer had a remote start installed. First problem she had was that she hit the remote start when the car was in the garage and then hit it again to shut it off. She left the garage and in the morning the battery was stone dead. Remote start guy says that cause of the auto headlight mode when you use the remote start, if you dont open a door the headlights stay on. I tested it and thats what happened. He said he can do something so the car thinks the door opens and the prob will be fixed, we'll see.
Second problem I had twice and I cant seem to figure it out. I used the car to go to work and parked right infront of my office window. I didnt lock the car, and left it all day. At the end of the day I tried to remote start it (need to push the lock button 3 times) and it beeped on the first push but then nothing. Tried acouple more times locking and unlocking, then tried remote start again and it started. Then when I went out to the car and went to go home the security light on the dash wouldnt go out. only did when i started and shut off the car twice. I cant figure out why its doing this sometimes, cause then when I try it another day it works fine.

Sorry for the long post but I need some input and I thought i needed to explain it in detail. Nothing like the good old days when the cars had none of these "extras".......

I don't think anyone will give exact answer because you have aftermarket add-on in your car and we don't know the brand of it nor how it was connected. Sounds like that's what causing all the problems because you're the first on this forum who complained about it. Your best bet will be to talk to the dealer or remove that remote start feature completely. Again...any universal aftermarket toy have to be connected in proper way unless specified by manufacture for specific car but there's no aftermarket remote start been made for specific cars since they're ALL UNIVERSAL. Complain to a dealer.
