So i just bought my 2008 m35 last week. Different type of car from my past but...I LOVE IT! The only thing that i wanted to get for my car was an aux option. Of course the car i ended up buying didnt have the tech package so i dont have navi. I called my local infiniti dealership saying I want an ipod hook up. They said if you dont have navigation then it is not possible on my car. They referred me to cartoys where when i called them they said that they dont have the ipod.aux adapter to install but guided me to go on the forums and see what unit to buy and then come back to them and they will try to install it. Please help...I dont want to keep burning cds!

If possible, can you guys tel me which kit to buy and price quotes.

Thanks a lot in advance!

ps. is there a way to scroll through songs on an mp3 cd and not change the song being played....

Car: 2007 Infiniti M35 Sport with Navigation, XM and HK Ipod Drive and Play 2 - Black on Black

I have a 2007 with Nav and XM. I installed the adapter that allows for Preset B1 and B2 to be utilized for any RCA input you want. I used that to connect a Harman Kardon DRive and Play 2 which gives me remote access to my Ipod and a secondary screen that shows song and album art. If you are interested in seeing pics or knowing more, let me know. Hope this helps.

Bought this for my 2007 M35X with factory XM and NAV. This unit adds iPod controlled through steering wheel buttons and displayed on your screen. It also adds HD radio...AM sounds like FM, and FM is CD quality. Install wasn't too difficult.

If you order it from these folks, they throw in the required antenna adapter and shipping is free.

The dealer is full of crap. I have a 2008 M35 Sport. Base model. I had them install the iPOD interface free of charge as a deal closer when I bought the car. Its an Infiniti after-market part, even comes with a little user manual. My iPOD Touch works great with it. It does have some limitations. It won't charge GEN 2 iPOD Touches or the iPhone. If you have lots of songs on your iPOD it can be cumbersome unless you come up with a folder or playlist scheme to organize your tunes. If he tells you again that there is no such thing let me know and I'll dig up the part number for you. Good luck.
