i just recently noticed my 2007 g35x driver seat wont go back and forth but i do hear the clicking noise but it just stays in the same position everything else works it goes up down reclines and everything so idk whats wrong any help or suggestion will be appreciated

It's possible that the plastic worm gear that moves the seat front and back has cracked or broken. The bad news is Infiniti does not sell this gear separately.

The good news is a place called odometergears.com may be able to help. They sell a plastic gear for Infiniti seats but I'm not sure if it fits your car.

You can remove the front cover over the seat rail and see if the gear is broken.

Another possibility is that the seat switch is bad.

It's going to take some investigation to determine the cause.

Odometergears do have them for '03-08 G35's. The '07 G35 has the same seat as the '08 G37 coupe so I'm sure the G37 ones would fit too, unless Infiniti changed the design after the '08 coupe.
