I have 2005 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE

Couple of months ago it started to do very bad rattling noise in idle.
I heard allot of different stories on what can be wrong.
I have a video of the car running with that noise.
Wanted to see if anyone had the same issue, and how should I fix it.
Any ideas will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hello, my question is does the sound get more high pitched upon acceleration? I had a similar sound before but not as bad, would rattle like crazy and the Nissan Tech said it was caused by a under heat shield in which he removed and the sound was gone. Hope this helps or you find the issue if it differs.

How many miles? If ur getting up there 100k or better. It's your timing chain slapping against cover do to tensioner becoming worn and there is a guid rail that sits on tip of hydrolic tensioner that can drop down. The tensioned are run off ur oil pressure. When u first start and at idle if your oil is low or old. It will slap n u hear it! It cost bout $1000 to have shop fix it. Calls for 11 hrs in book. Easier to pull motor n change timing chains ! Let me know
