I own a 04 max i want to upgrade my radio . I want to have a colored screen in place of my orange one with the ability to watch tv navigate etc. any suggestions? I would appreciate it. Also my subs aint hittin like they used to? I wanna bump and have a clean look and maybe change the color behind the odometer etc also.

As far as in dash navi units go, I would stick with a self-contained Kenwood, or if you are an avid smartphone user, look into the Pioneer AppRadios (and don't be fooled by the lower initial cost: they make up for it with all the needed adapters). Both units have Bluetooth and a dedicated line-level sub output for running aftermarket amps. Stock Bose system integration requires the adapter harness.
The Kenwood will play DVDs, but only when the parking brake is on (per law) or when the system thinks the parking brake is on (at your own risk).
I've never seen one which receives TV broadcast.
As far as the gauge lights go on a 2004 Maxima, I believe there is a tube lamp backlight, which is a bit trickier to change than the classic bulb to LED conversion. Others know more about this than I do.
