Hey guys... so tomorrow is the BIG DAY I have been waiting for!!!

So tomorrow i am getting my tires mounted, and put on my car...I have an issue with LUGS....

The wheel is an ADR Propulsion 20" obv with a 5x114.3 pattern...

I know theres all different types of nuts as far as the way they rest on the wheel... what i need to do is figure it out TODAY so i can buy them for cheap, rather than at the tire shop for 2x the price...

Any help!

Those are nice! They need a key to remove, which is always good. I would still use the extra Nissan locking key which came with the car just for extra security. Just paint the thing black to match.

Your car didn't come with factory locks? Mine has one star lock on each wheel. Hmm...What model do you have? I have a 3.5 SE, maybe that has something to do with it??

LongBeachCoupe.....on my last car I had three different types of wheel locks on each tire...OVERKILL YOU SAY??? ok, maybe, one of my buddies joked with me about the same thing, saying that I was doing too much...two weeks later, someone stole two of his rims from the same side of the car...why??? because they had the same generic wheel lock key that matched his. For my new coupe, I'll probably use four locks as my lug nuts. It only requires keeping all of the locks in a safe, hidden place. It is annoying as h*ll for the guys at the auto shop, but I could care less, the added security is enough for me. If someone gets my wheels with four different locks on them, they deserve them! Just a word to the wise, folks reading this may say its overkill also...until their rims get snatched!

I need black ones though... i dont see that many around... and although im in NY... and i take trips to the city... its been a real long time since i have heard someone getting their wheels snatched here.. i feel like bc they are black they are also less susseptable to being stolen... if you look at the ones i bought, its like a giant hex key i think..

im going over to mavis.. i didnt know mount/balance would cost so much... first they wanted 39 a wheel.. then i said how about 25... he said bring it in... im waiting for help to schlep the things over there...

Most tire shops should charge 20-25 per wheel. $39 is straight up craaaggieee, unless it comes with tickets to a METS game of course You're NEVER too safe for someone to steal your wheels. And you could always just paint the locks black.
