I hope some one can help me. I went on Heavy Throttle and other sites for wiring. From sr harness to ka harness all colors match up except the Blk/red stripe & Blu/red strip from sr going to the blk/red stripe on the ka.

so here is the problem, on the ka harness there are 2 green wires one w/ an orange stripe and one with yellow. On the sr harness there is one with an orange stripe and TWO with a yellow stripe. which one gets connected or do both of them?

I just started putting together now I find there is a THICK blue/red stripe wire (see above) and a THIN blue/red stripe coming from the sr harness. Same situation. Which one or do both get wired together?

we are not psychic and wire colors can not always be trusted.

1.) get a volt meter2.) ohm your harness out and figure out where these wires go and what they do. refer to the schematics in the FSM. if your still confused after that, post where these wires run 2 and maybe we can help you.

However,My experience with wiring problems has led me to distrust all manuals (they only provide a general estimate), volt/ohm meter and wire tracing is best. This experience is founded on my installation of the SAFC2
