HELP! 1998 QX4 Error code P1444 -Purge Volume Control/V

Help please.I have a 98 Qx4. I failed my smog check because the Check engine light was on. The emission readings were fine but apparently the check engine light means an automatic failed smog. What can i do to fix this P1444 code????

Please help. Thanks.

Reset it and see if it comes back.

Replace the purge control valve and reset the light. SHould fix it right up.
