HELP...1997 LE 5spd...should I buy it??

I found a 1997 240SX LE at a dealer within a reasonable distance(150 miles). I've been searching for a 5spd SE with no luck and this 5spd LE popped up. It's got 87,000 miles on it and it's metallic gray(my favorite)...asking $8,000 but will probably do $7,000 cash(which I have). I want some opinions on if I should keep looking or if I should go for it, if it looks good when I see it tomorrow. I'm not sure if it has abs...am I loosing out by not having that and lsd and no 5 lug wheels? And the VIN is JN1AS44D9VW103749 if anyone would be so kind as to CARFAX it. Thanks in advance, John

sounds like a nice car...dont find too many 5 spd 97-98's around this area...has it eveer vin an accident? i guess carfax will let u know.

your not loosing anything by not havin ABS.. i hate ABS.. but an LSD is nice but u can always put one in so its not that big of a deal.. sounds like a nice car..

I would buy that car in a heartbeat. The things that it doesn't have that you want (LSD and 5-lug) are easy fixes. The color, year, mileage, and the fact that it's a 5-spd are the big points to consider. I'd say it's a great deal you found.

why keep looking??? you're not gonna come upon a deal like that in a while, and plus it's LE. even rarer. that means it must have all leather...:drooling

My permanent address is in Edenton, but I currently live in Wilmington going to UNCW.I found out that it's a base model (lady on phone said it was 4 lug and cloth seats), but I'm not detered(i'm changing out the stock suspension and don't mind doing a 5 lug swap in the future)...I'm gonna go see it tomorrow, and I will have money in hand.
