What's the mileage? Is the title clean? How bad is the rust? How bad is the wiring? Aside from that and the list of mods, hell yea it's worth 5 grand, BUT make sure you really look over it before buying it, that means Carfax, inspection, the whole 9 yards. Some pictures of the questionable areas might be helpful too.

Where is it rusted.. I ask because you said it had fresh paint. Sounds like it could be a good price for all the stuff on it if it is all in good shape. But it also sounds like part of it is halfassed so I would look it over very well before buying it and make sure that someone isn't trying to sell you their headache. It is always harder to figure out other peoples rigging job than your own. I personally would probably pass unless it was super clean. By the way my car is meteor grey metallic (off newer porsche carreras)

its 2 rust spots the size of pea on the door and trunk. no rust any where else. it has a s13 speed sensor so it isnt that accurate. the interior is mint. it has about 60,000 miles on the swap and 160,000 on body. im new to the 240 scene i own a audi s4 b5 and a civic si so this is pretty new to me.

and for the wiring i wouldnt say its too bad. i would say it needs cleaned up and the fan needs re wiring bcus it runs non stop unless the car is off

thanks guys for your input !!!

Sounds like a good deal to me. Do you have a mechanic buddy that can drive it and look it all over for you?

There is nothing wrong with the wiring for the fan, it's simply wired into the ignition. The way to fix that is for you to install a fan controller, or a relay switch with which you can manually control the fan. The advantage of having the fan on all the time, aside from the fact that the oem fan is on all the time, is that you can't ever forget it off and overheat the car, the disadvantage obviously is extra strain on the alternator and dead battery if you forget the power on.
