HEY GUYS,

Im a noob on this forum but i need some help! Im moving to florida and just traded my is300 for a very well built q45 with full active suspension and the controller!

PROBLEM-My active suspension isn't raising the car off the ground! Car is way too low to even turn!

ATTEMPS- I have lifted all four wheels off the ground and then bled the sytem out of any air bubles. Then placed the car on the ground and still nothing,

ATTEMPS- I took off the controler to the stock FAS and just plug it in regular then tried it again! Still nothing

ATTEMPS- I check all hoses and the resevor then it is still full?? but fuild isn't moving?

POSSIBLITIES- One thing might be the pump is bad??? But prior owner said it only sat for a few months in storage. Then when he pulled it out he had to JUMP START the car but the suspension when up!

Possibility- Battery cranks the motor over but i know the starter needs repair but doesn't have anything to do with the FAS!

Possibility- FAS computer is fried due to jumping the vehicle???

If you have any information that would help please post up ASAP! Im trying to get home to florida and don't want to get rid of the VIP Q45 that was built by rasrx-7 (RON)....Please HELP!

Welcome to Nico . Have you checked the fuse yet? That may sound silly but you have to start with the easy stuff first. A bad fuse will sink the Q like the titanic. Let's start with that.

The FIRST thing to check is for any error codes stored in the active system computer. Otherwise like hunting water buffalo blindfolded--can get very costly and ineffective.

Follow detailed instructions within FSM or use a Consult I or II with proper Active memory cards.

Just as a dealer technican will do read codes read fsm , do the supplemential tests and within an hour or two you have the best guess to proceed.

Usually best to spend 10-15 hours reading and rereading FSM ACTIVE section until you have committed most to memory.

It really is a simple system that depends on hydraulic power, height sensors and accel sensors.

Rasrx7: probs to your nice set presidente'sthis is how you check all NISSAN and INFINITI OBI ECU

Without OBD IIOn G20 models, the ECU is located behind the center console. On J30, M30 and Q45 models, the ECU is located behind the RH kick panel.

If a malfunction occurs within the ECU/fuel injection system, a diagnostic trouble code may be stored in the ECU and the ‘‘Check Engine’’ lamp will blink. There is also a lamp built into the ECU which will concurrently blink. To read Code output, proceed as follows:

Turn ignition On, but do not start engine. Using a small screwdriver, turn diagnostic mode selector switch, located on side of ECU, fully clockwise. Wait two seconds, then rotate switch to full counterclockwise position. A malfunction code can be read as the long (0.6 second) blink, indicating the first digit of a two digit number and the short (0.3 second) blink, indicating the second digit. Ensure that the diagnostic switch is to the full counterclockwise position whenever the vehicle is in use

Clearing CodesIf using a scan tool, follow tool manufacturer’s instructions to clear Codes.

A second, though more time consuming method of clearing Codes involves using a small screwdriver to turn the diagnostic mode selector switch, located on the side of the ECM/ECU, fully clockwise. After waiting two seconds, rotate the switch to the full counterclockwise position. The diagnosis will end and memory will then be cleared.

to read the active computer codes, first make sure the 'act sus' light goes off after 'key on' . the computer actually 'resets' every key cycle, but should keep stored codes. if the light burns steady (never goes out), try to read the codes, but may need to start ewith new computer.

to read the act sus codes, turn key on (not start), and flip the N--H switch back and forth more than 10 times in 10 seconds. return to 'N' position, wait up to 30 seconds for act sus light to start blinking codes.
