HELP!! 1990 300zx cutting off

I have a 90 nissan 300zx . I am new to the nissan 300zx's. I recently bought the car and run good when I got it but when I'm going down the road sometimes it will just cut off on demand but will crank right back up and run fine. Also like it is sluggish until it gets past 3000 rpm when taking off. But after that she runs like a bat out of hell. What in the world is going on to loose power like that PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a faulty MAF. I will try to clean it. They sell a special spray for electronics in autozone. Remember just spray it and let it dry. Also check rotor and rotor cap, spark plug wires, spark plugs and gas filter.

Has new plugs and wires and fuel filter. Would Maf cause it to loose all power at once though bud?

I cleaned maf and it was good but I noticed if I'm parked and idling when I press my clutch in it drops from a perfect idle to around 400rpm but only when I press my clutch in,any suggestions fellows

If you turn the wheel hard to one end does it try to cut out as well?

No it doesn't but I fixed my idle problem but now only every once in awhile when starting off it wants to bog down a lil and when the rpm goes up it runs fine . I'm taking a look at sparkplugs tomorrow and see what they look like but they suppose to be new. Also what's the best sparkplug for the 300zx
