About a month ago i replaced one of my driver side bulbs in the tail light which worked untill today, now when i hit the brake my driver side and half of the passenger side tail lights go out but the rear window light works....There is no water comeing into the trunk so i dont think that that would be the problem.....Just wondering if anyone else had this problem before and knows how to fix it...Help would be greatly appreciated....Thanks

The lights go out when you apply the brakes? It sounds like you may have installed the wrong type of bulb. Double check.

are you 150% sure you used the right bulb. usually the wrong bulbs can some what work but will cause some crazy stuff to happen. i would double check that. also i had a problem with mine once and i ended up finding out that one of the grounds on one of my tailight bulbs was bad so after fixing that it fixed all my problems. hope this helps

Ok thanks guys i went and looked at the panel that the sockets are in and on the driver side all of the grounds were loose and there were two on the passenger side that were loose....I tightened them all up and i got the drivers side to work great nice and brite but the passenger side is different, what i mean by different is that with the running lights on the bottom right light stays brite all of the time and the bottom left dims out...

I got the drivers side to work great like i said but now i need to figure out the passenger side now....thanks for all of the help....

I have this problem too, the driver side brake light on the left dims, but the right is full lit. Have not tracked it down yet, faulty socket maybe.

i had that problem, just bad grounds for me. There had been a short at one time and corroded the ground and melted some of the plasitc. After I cleaned it up lights worked just fine.
