hey whats up guys?! Im planning on buying wheels from a local store. theyre 18x8, +35 offset, 114.3 . I drive a 98 240sx wil Apex i ExV's. Will these rims clear the coilovers? How far will it stick out or sink in? And what size tires can be used on these? thanks!!!

Do a search for the offset calculator. It will allow you to see the difference of wheeels on your car. I think the 8 in wheel will probally sit a little under an inch closer to your shock/spring and probally only protrude about an inch outwardBut don't take these numbers as golden I'm just roughly guesstimating from the top of my head

you may have problems with front clearance with the coilovers, but if you are buying them from a local shop, see if they can test fit one for you. the rear you should have no problems with at all.

the offset caculator isnt on the forum anymore. Any one have this wheel setup? Or does anyone know how far it will stick out or in? Or if it will clear the coilovers? whats the closest the tire or rim can get to it? new wheels measure at 18 x 8 +35, old/stock ones are 16 x 6.5 40mm offset. thanks! heelllpp!!

yay i get to whore up another thread with a pic of my new wheels.here are what 8" wide 30mm offset wheels look like on an s14, since yours are 35mm offset, they will sit inward 5mm more. Depending on how far the sidewall of the tires you mount stick out, the look can be a little more or less flush.

I went out and checked, and I don't think the 35mm offset will fit up front. here is how close mine sit with the 30mm offset. Yeah my tires rub right not but they are too big. Well they only rub when i'm taking hard corners or have the steering at full lock (making a u turn, etc). Just crusing, they don't rub. The tires on there are 245/45/17 where they need to be 245/40/17. The wheels are 17x8 - 30mm offset

yup the wheels in the pic are new. I still have the kosei wheels. Trying to sell em, but might hold on to them. The new wheels are noticably slower...

yeah I thought I remember seeing your car with Kosei's. Those wheels are sooo hot I've been looking for a set for some time now, but I have a 4 lug car so I am stuck with an extremely limited wheel selection and I hate it

well the original idea was to switch to 5 lug in order to get a set of weds sa90's, in 17x8 +25, which only come 5 lug, but now im not sure if im going to get those wheels

i need to find out what sizes i can get work emotion cr's in, which are actually my first choice for wheels, but if i can get those in a good 4 lug size ill probably be staying 4 lug

id like to keep the kosei's, maybe get them painted a little darker gray, but the pic in my sig doesnt do justice for how good they look

I've seen the Kosei's before up close in real life and I must say they are very nice wheels. If they would had ever made them in 16x8 ~22offset and 16x9 ~ 17offset in four lug, Thats what I would have on my car right now

you can get the buddy clubs with those widths and offsets in 4 lug, but you have to move to the 17
