Hello everyone, I am new here.

I have just bought a '94 200sx (S13) twin turbo 16v and I am from the UK, I was wondering if anyone has any good website links for these items I need:
  • Turbo Timer (and suggestion where in car to put it, as I want to keep the bitty under the radio).
  • Tripple A-Pillar pod holder.
  • Boost/Vac Gauge (30 psi), in white with a blue night glow.
  • Oil Pressure Gauge. Prefably same as ubove.
  • Air/Fuel auto gauges (cos I think they look nice, never use it though, lol).
  • White dash, that glows blue at night.
  • Somewhere where I can get 17" Alloy and Tires under £500, second hand would be fine also.
  • Body Kit- I think I will get away with just the front bumper and spolier, though I won't know till I see it ;).
Any help would be appricated. My ride before was a Porsche 944, so the first things I am doing is getting bigger tyres as it has 15" and the back skips out on full boost.

Then do up the interior with extra gauges to moniter the turbos (I don't think I will boost them anymore, but you never know).

Then finaly on the list is a body-kit, that wide boy kit posted here looked nice, but a bit pricey, I think just a new bumper and spoiler will do the trick, as I don't like the looks of the standard 200sx to what my 944 looked like. I like something a bit mean looking, but not imposing and not flashy.

Thanks.

you don't have twin turbo...go to enjukuracing.com, and get either a c-west body kit, or jacquemond.com, go there.

Why not spend some of that money your using to rice up your car(white dash that glows blue at night--wtf?) on some real performance parts for you car....unless you have a ton of mods already, imo all those gauges are unessescary(excluding the boost gauge and the turbo timer)

Ok Jemil, this guy has a porsche 944, i think he knows what he's doing with his car, and he asked a question, not for your opinion. AND BY THE WAY... you consider indiglo guages ricey and unnecessary, but you have some razo "racing" pedals and carbon fiber interior trim?

just because he has a porsche doesn't mean he knows anything. my friend has a porsche 924s, basically the same as 944, and he used to want to rice that car up. i convinced him not to get the neon under car shiit. anybody can go and buy a 944. they're everywhere.

True... anyone can buy a 944 (assuming they have a little cash).

But not anyone can keep it running.

Parts for 944's are easy to get, just expensive. Great sports cars. Their only downside is the above average cost to maintain 'em.

Yeah I know my way round an engine, though I prefeer when my machinic gets his head under the bonnet ;)

Rice? Well at the end of the day dials, dashs, spoilers, it is all cosmetic, but where do you spend most of your time? In the car not looking at it from the out-side, hense wanting the look at the inside and like what you see. So I will get the car to look stylish and how I want it, inside and out.

Then once the car looks the business, it is time to make it the business. Improve handling first (too use to 944 cornering), then to get some nice boost going :)

You're right, but I gathered from his statement that his rear wheels are fifteen inches wide on the 944, and he still peels out, that this guy must know something about how to properly and tastefully improve his Stuttmobile.

I would like to point out that all the modifications that are on my car, came with the car... THE CAR THAT I WON!!! Can't say much about that can you????

And if you think that the interior of my car is ricey because of Razo Racing Pedals and Carbon Fiber Trim then you have something elso coming...The Trim kit looks good and is not overdone...at least not like having a white dash board that glows blue in the dark and 5 or 6 gauges that tell you things that is really unnessescary unless you are running really high boost and tons of mods to the engine....I always say go before show...and just because you own a certain car doesn't mean you know what is tasteful!!! If you don't believe my interior doesn't look good you can see for yourself:

am i the only one that doesn't know what the slang word, "bonnet" is? i'm assuming it's a british term. i read a lot of words like that in that MAX POWER magazine. probably the worst investment i ever made. 9 bucks for that magazine with the shiitiest cars i ever saw in my life, and the nastiest topless girls i ever saw as well.

bonnet=hood or perhaps the equivalent to "doghouse".

Why so much respect on the 944?Up here in Canada, you can buy them a dime a dozen, for literally no more than $4,000 Canadian dollars. And it will be in good shape too. I can buy one for the money I'm spending on my 240 over winter...I'm not ragging on the car at all, but maybe I'm missing something about 944's down in the states.....

Profile says twin turbo, cos I am a fool and ment twin cam. lol

Bonnet= Hood.

And I do go for looks before the speed, providing the inital speed is good enough. But each to their own.

944's are really nice, hense me haveing one, but they are infuriating! They look great imo, I think no car can beat it on styling from standard, and nothing I know can corner like it (took a roundabout at 65mph and it held it, no slip no slide, and remember how small our round a bouts are!). However the engine sucks compared to a 240sx (200sx over here, I think), with regards to performance. And also the interior as standard within the SX is better. The Nissan is definatly more money for the car you get.

So when I get through with mine, I aim to have it looking as good as a 944, and handling as good as one .... it is already faster as standard

I look forward to picking your brains and posting my mods :)

ninjak84, the 944 is currently used in many forms of entry level and competition level club racing and motorsports. The 944 Turbo S was once called the closest thing to a race car for the streets. Yuo won't find those for $4k canadian.

A buddy of mine does regular track events in his 944 turbo s. Everytime I ride in it, I can't believe that he is only running the stock suspension! There is almost no body roll...even on race rubber! The balance and feel of the car is very neutral. It'll do what you want, when you want it to. Very confidence inspiring car.

The downfall? Well, my buddy, who also happens to be very wealthy, names all of his car. His 944's name is Hoover...like the vacume...because it sucks all his money away. Parts are very, very expensive!
