hello im new to the 240 world and i will be buying one on saturday hopefully. its a 95 coupe wit ha s14 blacktop in it. i want to know what i should look out for? what common problems do these cars have? im a tech so dont be afraid to tell me ANYTHING that is an issue on these cars. i want to do my research and make sure im getting a good 240

Welcome to NICO! Strut tower rot is something to look for on S14s.

The main thing to look for is corrosion and rust.

Well there really isn't any..I was thinking more along the lines of common driveablity issue's, things that fail relatively often, what should be the things I do when I get the car?

Welcome to NICO! I'm not so familiar with S14, but I would check the power steering rack and other components of the system (assuming it has P/S). Those are always junk on S13's...

Thanks..all the help is appreciated.I just want a reliable car! I'm kinda nervous getting into a 240..will be my first non-euro car and all of my cars have been VW/audi

Welcome!

The only time my car had a problem was my own fault, and letting the car overheat.
After I fixed that issue, It's been very reliable to me, even though I turbocharged it.

Just keep it well maintained and it should be good to you.

Due to their age, a lot of the seals are probably going to start leaking, so get ready for that.
