Hey everyone, I'm new to the site, but not new to the scene. I just purchased my second 240, the first one I had a t28 ka-t, then ditched that setup for a t3/t04 ka-t, but after the car got stolen, it was found f'd up, well I junked it after! lol, but this car has a crappy running ka24e, which i'm quickly ditching. I have a lot of $$$ saved and am starting a build thread for my rb25det. I am all set to purchase my motor, most likely from venus auto or phase2, or raw brokerage, but i came across www.jdmtigerjapanese.com and the prices are almost too good to be true... after some searching on google, i've found mixed reviews, and i tried searching here and nothing comes up... anyone have any experience with these guys? they have a youtube video of their shop and i've spoke to them on the phone, they seem legit, but after my last 2 builds, I know you get what you pay for... but it's just soo tempting, shoot I might even go rb26 with there price! lol oh yea, and pics to come!!

after taking a look on there web page I would say stay away from them unless ur local to them and go check it out. They have a red top RB20DET listed as a 93 motor lol. The redtops are the older version to the silvertops.

I knew it was too good to be true! lol. well, we'll see what I decide to do, I live in Long Beach, so I might just drive to Phase2 and pick out a motor! lol, i'm trying to fix my camera so I can post up some pictures. I wasn't going to swap this soon, but the transmission went out and I figured since there's 232k miles on the clock, I'm not going to spend 5hrs replacing the transmission just to have the motor go out lol. PICS SOON!!!!!

There a few places in socal, try Soken they should be a little closer to you.
