Welcome to nico...I would like to get in to off roading... did it back in india for a while...miss those wet stick mud paths(they cant be roads coz only tractors and bullock carts go on them)

I always liked those years for the hardbody, but WTF is up with that "swish" on the side?

It was a factory deal for that generation Hardbody. Very common.

yep, they came with the truck. but somewhere down the line I plan on the desert runner paint scheme for it after some body mods though.

Good to see you dvdswan, I'm suprised you haven't been to Nico sooner. This is the place where little 4x4's like yours with badass suspensions and bone stock engines meet the likes of boosted 240sx's.

Someone above mentioned a turbo, but my concern with that is the linearity of the off-idle throttle response, because it seems like it would be counter-productive when crawling over obstacles and through deep ruts and washouts at less than 3mph, and this big surge of boost comes on. Things could get harsh.
