So, i was out surfing the web looking for info on my 3.5 se coup and came across your forum.Looks like a lot of interesting stuff. My AC is stock right now but i plan on doing mods soon.Any ideas would be appreciated.I have been having a problem with the breaks screeching when the car is cold, had it to the dealer twice they said give em some time to break in and their wasn't much they could do, it sure is annoying!Anyone with the same problem? or a solution .I have 10,000 miles on the coup . Thanks...

Just hit 9k miles and my breaks have been noisy for the past 3-4k.

Always thought it was the PoS beside me or something but the other day I pulled through the ATM after leaving work and they squilled. Going to the dealership today and complaining.

LBC, do you have a link to an official recall on breaks? I've searched numerous sites and can't find anything.

I don't think this is the official thing, but I go to http://www.nissanhelp.com for recall info on our car when I heard there were a few problems, such as breaks, steering wheel, etc problems on our car. I hope I'm not breaking any rules by sending you to another website. Mods, slap me and call me shirley if that's the case.

my brakes do this. thought it was brake dust issues like the bimmers. so far braking has not been compromised.

I went to the dealer and told them about the brakes and they said it couldnt be duplicated. I guess Im gonna have to print out the recall and enlighten the service manager next time.

i had mine replaced under warranty for the same squeeling. They replaced the front left rotor and pad and the front right pad and reconditioned the rotor. I was told the front right caliper siezed up and was bad. I will warn u that if they take a look at your breaks and it was something as stupid as a rock stuck in the pad they can charge u. They warned me this before I had them look at it.
