hey everyone, let me tell you a little about my self... i'm going to be 20 next month. I have been married for about a year and a half now, to a wonderful airfoce guy. and about 6 months ago i got an 89 maxima. It is the first car that i have really been able to call my own. it has quite a few quirks, but i have been working on them. i do know how to work on cars... at least i like to think so.

now a little about my car... its a great first car... ya know, because most first cars need a lot of love.. well that woudl be mine. it needs a lot of things. like an engine mount, front and rear breaks, rear rotors, shock struts. and i need to figure out why my blinkers dont work... new speakers, etc... etc... oh, but i did fix the headlights. when i turn on my brights, it dosnt cut off the lights completly anymore.

I have big plans for this car. i have a t3 turbo sitting at my house calling to me... i've had to fight my husband for it. he wanted to put it on his old toyota celica (it made burnout of the month in the feb issue of sport compact car)... i bought him an engine so he woudl give me the turbo. my goal is to be able to run with atleast tuned v6 mustangs...

i am also a member of Vivid Muscle car club. ( http://www.vividmuscle.com )

Welcome to NICO!

Motor mount is very easy to do in the driveway with a jack. I've done two on my '93 (same as your '89).

One of our other Maxima moderators, mtcookson, has a turbo third gen, so I'm sure he'll be able to offer some advice on where to go with your T3.
