You are one lucky guy. Take good care of her! Any plans for it? Please if you plan on modding her...no RICE!

Man I just can't get over how clean and fresh that thing is...looks like it just rolled out of the factory! RED VERTS FTMFW!

Thanks for the kind words guys and yes its going to be gradge kept, and drove on pretty sunny days, the two previous owners were an old lady whom traded it off in 1998 when it had 7500 miles on it then a disabled fellow in his 40's bought it from the dealer ship and put 19,000 miles on it to give it, the near 27000 mark it has now. I have the factory service records up till 1998 in the little booklet with the stampings and from 1999+ I have the dealers print off everything else up until I bought it including what mileage the inspection stickers were put on all done by the same dealership where it was bought new traded back into bought again and traded in again from and the same place I bought it from. I have already added it to the registry, and as far as mods go someone ditched the factory cassette and put in a clarion CD player and the front speakers need replaced they crackle and the rear speakers will probably get replaced with ones that match the fronts I am going to purchase probably going with some JBL's and I will probably put an amp and sub in the trunk other then that yeah, its not going to become riced out

Incredible!!!

Welcome to the forum. Glad you found us! Please be sure to add yourself to the registry (sticky thread atop the forum).

27k huh? What a gem!!!

Can you take a picture of the door panels for us? None of us know what they are supposed to look like as Nissan did a really really poor job of making them, and they always fall apart after a little use. Hopefully yours are still in great shape and the center portions aren't seperating from the rest of the door panel.

Paint is very glossy. Wow! Just spectacular.

Again.. Welcome to the club! Glad to have you aboard. Check out the FAQs/FACTS sticky thread as well as it is very informative.

Let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

oh..yeah.. one more thing... please be very careful when replacing those speakers in the doors.. those door panels are so brittle and easily ruined.. it would be a crime if something happened to them.

well unfortunately thats one of the small problems with this car the driver middle door panel is loose at the top I see the stinkin staples nissan used they just won't hold, I am guessing age has something to do with it I was going to take it to an upholstery shop and see what they recommend using to keep them inplace I don't wanna use screws if I can keep from it, on the other side the passenger looks cherry I am guessing no one ever rode over there much but I prolly will have that problem when I go to installing the door speakers, another small problem it has is the plastic pin receivers at the top that the vert pins go into were broken, I made a trip to the dealership and ordered them lets hope they are not discontinued lol 13 bucks for 50 cents worth of plastic ah well I want it right and I am going to do my best to keep it that way, other small problems include the trunk shocks are too weak to auto raise the trunk once u get them up they will stay just arn't strong enough to raise, but that will be fixed no problem, I think Imma make it a show car and pull it to the shows with the Frontier both the frontier and the 240 are Azteck red color AG2 is under the hood of the 240 and in the door of the Frontier I got a matching set

one thing i would suggest if you're going to put a sub in the trunk is to get one loud enough. because when you drop the top if its a small one you wont hear it. the top muffles it big time. i don't like too much bass, so i have a 250watt amp and a 10" that works great. and another 250watts for the speakers inside the car. im happy for ya man, no other 240's are kept as clean as the verts!

I just replaced the trunk struts in my car.

Go to http://www.rockauto.comclick on the online catalog.. click on part number search..

enter this part # SG359005

Should be $12.55 each.

Then before checkout, do a google search for Rockauto coupons... there is usually a 5% off coupon floating around out there..

Here's the thread that was the source of that info.. zerothread?id=80918

As for sub's in the trunk.. I've always heard good things about the Infinity Basslink. They are small, inexpensive and pretty good sound. Space in the 'vert trunk is at a premium.. so this might help..

I was thinking a nice set up with one solid 10 or 12 or 2 12's if I can squeeze them in, its a small fit something about 500 watts RMS I have 1 10 in my frontier with a 300 watt max amp and a Jensen touch screen head unit its loud enough in the truck but its under the rear seat and right inside the cab...

also I was wondering this car is missing the boot holder, in the manual there was this case that the boot went in does anyone know where I could pick one of those up at???

Overbook on KBB? Cause they're a little weird. Doesn't take rarity or popularity into account really. Not to mention the KBB value doesn't change whether you have 30 miles or 30,000 miles. I'd say you got a real solid deal for what you paid. If you keep it as a classic car, it's values only going to go up.

Didn't they retail for 24 grand?

yeah over KBB KBB it high books for 5700, but my point and case that it didn't give it any justice, if you check the auto trader usually most of these things are in the 5K range and have well over 100K miles I think they did retail anywhere from 22-24K and yeah Imma keep it for a long time I'm only 20 and as far as I am concerned its not going anywhere

Dang, that's like a new car. Congratulations, and be sure to treat it well.

Eikon, I wish I knew you were looking for pics of the door panels. Mine were in great shape until I put them on and off a few times (now they are at the landfill).
