Hello...

Hello everyone, I'm new here and just wanted to introduce myself. I had an 89 240sx a couple of years ago and I loved it (it was totaled out a week after I bought it because some *** turned in front of me in a Dodge Ram and slowed to a near stop to go over a 2 inch bump while entering a closed gas station). I've owned a maxda MX6 and a Mitsubishi Galant since then and am desperately trying to get back into an RPS13. I love the 240 for several reasons, the primary one being that its RWD and is more comfortable with a turbo system than it is without, and I LOOOOOVE turbos. Now I will say this on my behalf, I am not a ricer, I hate stickers, I hate big ugly wings, I hate big ugly bodykits (especially widebody kits). I do like a little show but i'm more interested in go. I do my howmework and I wont post anythign stupid (ie where can I find a set of Altezzas?). I'm about to graduate with an associates in Multimedia and in July I'm going to start at Wyotech to double major in Automotive Technology and Chassis Fabrication/High Performance Engines (The building, maintance and tuning of Suspensions, Race Engines Nitrous and Forced Induction). My goal is to get into the aftermarket tuning scene, possibly at a magazine or hopefully with a manufacturer like HKS or Apex'i. Having said all that I just want you all to know that I won't make an *** out of myself or others and all members will be treated with respect, at least until they ask a really stupid question or don't read before they write.

I've been a member in every forum out there for every car I've owned so I know the ropes, in fact I'm still a contributing member on Galantspeed.com. Never reached admin or mod status, but that doesnt matter to me, all I want is some good info, make new friends and try to get some networking contacts, especially once I try to get onto the SCCA circuit in the next year or 2. If any of you guys live in the Philly area give me a heads up on the best places to go for parts and where to stay away from, my permanent address is in Wilmington, DE but I'm going up Pittsburgh way in May, so if you're in Pittsburgh area, I'd appreciate a heads up on the scene there too.
