you're wasting cash on wheels.

you need to learn what offset fits the z brakes. I won't tell you. you have to find out on your own.

Looking good so far. how much you pay for the kouki tail lights? I would spend your money on a new dash and seats, then wheels. get some rota p45r's

I'm only messin with you dude, in all honesty, your civic is clean as hell, I'd rock the isht out of it

Looks like you got some good things lined up for the 240 already. Have you put the coils on yet? how do they feel?

massive update. procrastinated for a few months now and its time to update this tread .......

well its been a while since i updated u guys lots have happened since. First i started to feel discouraged and negative about the project somewhere at the end of 09 i posted it on craigslist and kinda gave up on it. Funny thing i said i was gonna sell it and get rid of it but i would check classifieds and forums for parts lol when i wanted to get rid of it so i guess i was not very interested in selling it ha i just wanted to get a better looking car in a better running condition. Of course another 240 .

Oh well , i was not able to get rid of it and i stop trying then i was like well this means something i need to fix it right ? well!!!! so the oportunity of getting my sr came along . Great!!!!!!!!!!!! so now i got pumped up to fix it and make it a dd / track car lol hit the canyons once in a while i love touge [ gmr im heading over as soon as i am done lol]

I got the sr from a guy on craigslist first i was looking to get a doch ka and maybe go t donw the road and i get my project running but then i came across this guy and got the sr instead its a black top sr with transmission , wiring harness ready for s13 , ecu , greddy rocker arms, metal head gaskets, arp studs and greddy pulleys , new water pump and gaskets . Awsome ha lol not much is pretty much stock but its a big upgrade from the loud soch i had i think the timming wwas a lil off . So i went to check out the engine and it llook great clean and no shaft play on the turbo about 70 % clutch life so i went and pick it up put it in the truck bed and went home cleaned up the garage and made room for me to work on the car and motor . here are some pics of the sr

Moving on i need it to get intercooler piping since guy didnt not have it he just gave me the smic and also i needed an intake. So i started to collect parts before doing anything to the engine , or even try to install it .

i started to take apart the front end of the car took fenders bumper ac stuff relocate the harness in the wheel wells and take out the dash and wiring for the soch . Disconect everything out of the soch and the transmission so i can take it out . thats my friend oscar when we started to take apart the front end.

In the meantime i was collecting parts such as a koyo aluminum radiator a must for this comming summer when the swap will be ready a megan fmic with some piping hks bov z32 maf greddy suction kit trust 3 inch down pipe megan sr20 tubular exhaust maneful and turbo elbowi got an extra blitz bov i also got some xxr 962 18 x 8.5 and 18x9.5 rims and a piggy lip. got to love stocker look !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also a hud clusted since the soch wont work with the sr

Lately i just took out the soch out of the bay and im the procces of cleanin the engine bay and cleaning the sr i took everything out and steam cleaned it all and i got all of my water hoses cleaned and im about to put it all together got a new thermostat and new sealant for the water neck. Cleaned up the turbo to a shine , painted and my turbo likes and got new hardware to replace some of the old bolts and nuts .............................I still need to get some radiator hoses and my power steering set up ( i need some help with this by the way , my sr didnt come with a power steering pump it has the backet tho QUESTION IS? does my soch power steeing pump work ...... probably not but do i need to get a sr pump or a doch will work plz help )

i need to clean my oil pan and check my engine from underneat maybe change my oil pick up strainer i got to check in what condition it is ................ thats as far i i have gotten since i been busy and have had little time to work on it i just got to clean my engine bay to drop in the sr and get her running ........... I also need a bost controller and some gauges ........... for now i just want to get her running

new update and a couple of questions guys????

Well today i worked on the car and started to assemble everything after all the cleaning and painting and re[placing all new gaskets and seals . So i put all the turbo together with the lines and the megan turbo mani and the elbow clean and changed the oil pan and starting putting together the intake side cleaned up my fuel rail and lines

and got halfway done the intake

Time to work on the transmission , i started cleaning it so i can assemble it together to the engine (by the way i cant wait to be able to drive this baby lol) . I changed my ka transmission speed sensor for the sr so that i can read mph not kmph then i got a problem ;so i was cleaning i notice that i was missing one of the sensors in the transmission acctually in both trannys i am missing the sensor in my ka transmission and my sr one Now the problem is that i think i know but im not sure so if anyone supports my theory help me out i believe its my back up light sensor or the neutral position sensor here is the picture today i am gonna clean my bay so that i can put this baby together so i can start installing the fmic and the radiator

well its been a pita cleaning the bay there is so much gunk and grease everywhere seems like previous owners never knew about degreaser or never bothered cleaning under the hood ..... i trying to clean as much possible just so i can lay down a couple coats of black paint and make it look cleaner rather than just sticking the sr in there . but since my lazy a$$ has not put enought time in cleaning well is taking for ever i think ill be able to finish cleaning tomorrow and stick the sr on saturday. A couple of my buddies will help me out put the engine down well see if they wake up in time lol i took down my rack and pinion and all the power steering rack since it was full of grease probably had a layer 1/4 of inch think no lie well anywasy i put foam degreaser and took it to the power wash and it looks like new now all the grease is off and its down to the bare metal and little paint left on it but everything is good and working i need to replace the busshings tho here are some pics

i also took my ka ecu and wiring harness out so i can put the sr in Now i go to work and wait till tomorrow finish cleaning the bay cant wait to have this thing on

hey, just a heads up, all because u have a HUD doesn't mean its gonna work with sr, i have a factory HUD in my car and the tack doesn't work cause i swapped it to a dohc KA, so yeah ur gonna need a new tack if u want it to work. Also the cluster u have is a sohc HUD cluster, i can tell cause the red-line starts around 6k instead of 7K. And i too came from the Honda world ( I used to own a 97 Teg).

Also been trying to figure out the stuff i need to get her running ....... nothing fancy just stuff to get her out of the garage ..................................... :ohno:
I already got all the oil transmission and engine i got a new oil filter and maintenance goods ........ i also decided to go with the sr fan shrout instead of the dual electric fans just for now im trying to keep things simple and more dependable .

I cut up the hole for the intercooler and also made brackets for it ....... i got to work on the pipping . Also all of the lower harness is hooked up i had to fix some of it and solder all of the wires that were jimmied out ............ been using a lot of electrical tape replacing the old crusty one ...... almost done on the top wiring harness just there is some i need to figure out :gotme
