Hello Everyone!

My name is Mike Rivera and I am an ASE certified technician and Sales Manager at FCP Groton, but most of all I am a fellow Nissan driver and enthusiast (95 240sx). I would also like to introduce another enthusiast (Infiniti G35) and customer service representative, Ellison Clark (Ellison@fcpimport). As of May 1st we are proud to say we are an official sponsor of NICO club. I want to first thank the moderators of NICO and the community itself for its warm welcome. Ellison and I have been around the community for a while which is now why we wanted to become the representatives for our company.

FCP Groton was established in 1986 as a family owned brick and mortar; some of you may already know us for our heavy European following in the Volvo and BMW communities. What you may not have known is that we also have extensive coverage for Asian vehicles too; we have just never had a website dedicated to these makes….that is until now.

We’ve been developing our Import site for nearly the past year and that is why the management of FCP requested I pick one specific community to present our site to before its official launch to the public. I figured what better place then NICO seeing that it has always been a reliable source for Ellison and me over the years.

So here it is: http://fcpimport.com. The site is still very early in its development stages so there are many changes to come and product lines to be added. We thought this would be an ideal time to present to the NICO community in hopes to solicit you guys for any positive and negative feedback. The sooner we start getting feedback from the community the easier it will be to make the necessary changes to site.

You will see some popular brands on the site already with many more to come: GMB Water Pumps and Tensioners, KYB Shocks and Struts, Royalty Drilled & Slotted Discs, Akebono ACT Ceramic Pads, Bando Drivebelts, Beck Arnley, Bosch Plugs, Flennor Timing Belts, Bosal Exhaust. You will also notice a low cost quality aftermarket line of steering, suspension, and filters that is also guaranteed for life. Feel free to let us know any other suggestions or comments you may have. We look forward to establishing a long lasting relationship within the NICO community and once again thank you for the warm welcome!

The simple crap that I always have to resort to ebay for to get reasonable prices such as couplers and t-bolt clamps would be a nice thing to add. (With reasonable prices of course.) OH Turbo parts are good too! Such as oil return kits. And like you said, suspension is always a good thing. Maybe a nice selection of interior pieces? Some aftermarket seats, sliders, gauge pods, gauges, steering wheels and hubs...

Thank you for that, we have access to tons of part sources at great prices so my focus will be adding what we as car guys need. We actually have an employee that just adds product listings and photos daily to the site so we take any feedback you guys provide very seriously. So thanks again!

We will be adding a complete line of Genuine Nissan and Infiniti parts. Let us know specifically what you would like to see and we will make it happen. If are prices aren't inline, just point us in the direction of another vendor and we will do our best to come in underneath them.

We are also in the process of developing custom suspension kits and timing belt kits for all Nissan and Infiniti Models. Here is an example of one we just put up for a Maxima:

Thoughts?

Feedback is always welcome. We realize it's important to understand the needs and wants of the community and tailor the site and it's development around that.

Just thought of something... There's a thread that members can use to request new parts to be available you may want to check out... new-parts-request-thread-2009-t426407.html

The big request that really caught my attention was... COMPLETE BOLT SETS FOR CERTAIN PARTS!! Like say someone decides to put aero on their car, or do a motor swap... Chances are they're missing some bolts by the time they get to the end. Availability of bolts already sorted would be amazing.

P.S. The link for the maxima part doesn't work.
