Hey NICO, i'm Eric, Anthony Felix referred me here.. I'm in NJ, new owner of an S13 (pic below).

I've been chasing down a wiring problem and just found that my ECU is pulling about an amp of power with the car shut off, draining the battery entirely over night. It just started pouring rain and I don't have the room in the garage to pull the car in right now.

What - in the ECU could be using an amp of 12v power with the car off?

The car..
S13 (240sx) with sr20det
-greddy boost controller (not sure how it's wired, it doesn't turn ON with IGN OFF)
-mech boost gauge
-took the stereo out last week thinking it was the culprit (not it)

How I tested..
Neg battery cable off, multimeter running from cable to battery and pulled fuses until I found which one was pulling power. The fusible link labeled "ENGINE CONT" was pulling 1A of power.

Thanks for any help, it's kind of annoying that I constantly have to pull my neg battery cable off every time I get out of the car.
