One piece drive shaft.
When my car is in the air lifted and when I put load on the rear end i get a god awful noise. Right around the end of the transmission and the driveshaft. I installed rear subframe collars since my bushing were bad. Good transmission mount and engine mounts.
When driving tho, car dives great and I have no noises or issues.
When the punk a** loser douche that lied to me who sold me the car years ago lol, he told me someone or himself installed an OEM vlsd. Before when I was auto ka, I swear I had two tires spinning occasionally when burning out, as in two fat skid marks lol. When I have the rear in the air, and I spin one tire, the other spins the opposite way. No vlsd right? See I bought a one piece d/s non abs open diff. My diff cover is also pretty leaky... Haven't tried to look at that yet. Any ideas you guys?
Flywheel was resurfaced and I put a used meaty exedy clutch in, shifts fine to me lol. Also new tob which is already whining.
A couple weeks ago after sampling a few turns, my transmission started to make this knocking noise as I climed rpms. It went away a couple days later tho? Haha idk..
I noticed my input shaft slightly wiggeled before I mounted the trans too...

did you check the driveshaft for any excessive front to rear and up and down movement. Also are your u joints tight? Probably need to send a buddy up in the air with it while you go underneath to narrow down the problem.

Yeah, i had the rear in the air with my gf engaging the clutch. with the car off, i tried wiggeling the driveshaft myself. No play. Where are the u joints?

Ok i need so good answers guy.
When i first purchased the car back a while ago, the punk told me he put a vlsd inside. As the years went down, from time to time i swear i had two tires smokin fat at some times.
Here i am now, 5 speed, sr20. Loving the power.
transmission info, new resurfaced flywheel (stock), exedy stage 2 (used) had plenty meat. I was told the TOB was new, LOOKED new, but already is noisy.
I have a one piece driveshaft from driveshaftshop. (non abs/open diff)
i had worn out subframe bushings, so slapped on some collars, and damn thats the best upgrade yet lol.
Problemmm
When i have the rear end in the air and put load on the rear (clutch pushing in and out) i get this very awful noise at the end of the trans and driveshaft like its just f*** animal.
To install the shaft i had to remove the cross member, lower trans, slip d/s in and install the other end on the diff and jack up the trans and install the memeber. I called the d/s shop and they said that normal and have heard of it before... Any ideas?

Kind of hard to get a good idea of what noise you're talking about. Can you take a video with some sound? That would help. Most normal problems would sound either like a whine or a series of clunk/thuds.

Run the car in gear in the air and see if you can track the noise then.
