Hello..Help with my new M45

Hi all,

I just bought a 2003 M45 this weekend. For the most part it is stock and I'm thinking about some mods that i want to make.

1. Darker Tint - My car is graphite colored so to dark wouldnt be that great. What % do you think would be right?

2. Rims - I'm thinking 20" but the stock look Ok, and i'm a little low on cash since i paid for the car with no financing so i might wait.

3. Dash kit - I saw some other posts about the wood trim kit for the upper middle console. Anyone recommend doing this or is the shade of the color noticeably different from the factory wood?

4. Backup Camera - since the m45 was built for this how easy is it to install. What brands would you recommend?

5. DVD/IPOD - i have a cd changer in the glove box, and an tape deck...i never listen to tapes so i thought i would get a DVD player installed. Has anyone else done this? Also the IPOD in the SAT radio slots, is that worthwhile to do?

6. Grilles - Since i have an older m45 i think it resembles a maybach from the back...and a RR from the side. Anyone look into Bentley grilles or other grilles that look better than the factory one?

DAMN!!! LOL for someone who is “low on cash” you have great ambitions, but I feel ya. I agree on the tint; go dark and as for the rims the world is yours; maybe you look at a set of stock 20 inch FX’s since you wanna look stock. We have member here who actually intergrated an ipod intohis system through the ash tray. There is a user named MrMark and he has the skinny on custom grill for the M’s.

Anyone know about the Backup camera? Can someone look up the part # to theirs? Is it plug and play? If so, in to what?

Also if this is very hard...is it easy to install a park system system where the sensors are hidden.

I live in an aparment where parking is very cramped and dark. So after a long night out i dont want to scuff my bumpers.
