Hi Group - I would like to introduce myself to your group.

My name is Rick and I am the president of Body-Skins, Inc. I offer sales, service and installations of clear paint protection film for cars, motorhomes, boats and motorcycles. I carry paint protection film by two manufacturers, 3M and Avery-Dennison. Kits are available for just about all domestic and import vehicles. I offer a mobile service for the chicagoland area. Custom work is also available.

Due to todays new EPA paint standards, lead is not allowed in todays paint. Due to this the paint today has a higher content of water and solvent based liquids. Therefore, paint protection for our car is becoming a bigger issue then in the past.

Body-Skins kits are the Clear Advantage to the conventional car bra and bug shield. They protect your cars paint from road hazards such as rocks, salt, insects and sand. This urethane 8mil film is virtually invisible and is car wash and pressure wash safe.

Please feel free to drop me a note if any of you might be interested.

Thanks,Rick

Dan,

The 95-98 240's are $150,,,,,,,thats installed with the kit. Offcourse this in only if your in my area (chicagoland). The kits itself if you were to buy it from me is $75 plus shipping. That is a hood and fender kit either in 3M or Avery-Dennison film.

I dont have a kit for the S13. It would have to be patterned, which is possible and no problem but I need access to the car. Hope this helps.......any questions just holler.

Thanks,Rick

Dan......check out http://www.clearbra.com for a listing of how your kit looks. I am listed there as a chicagoland installer and DAP member. They also have simple instructions on the basics of how to apply the film. All you need is a couple of spray bottles and a squeegee. A diaper or two will also help for pre-cleaning. Your kit is rated as a level 2 out of 5 for difficulty. If your talented with your hands it should not be a problem to get it installed right and also to look good. You need to strip any polish/wax off of the area that the kit will go on to first. After that its like doing window tinting with one big difference. The film is very elastic so it stretches unlike window tint film.

Good luck,,,,,let me know if I can help or supply you with a kit.

Thanks,Rick

Mythos,

2003 Sedan kits are about 110 for the hood and approx. 180 for the bumper. That is just the kit and yes material is available by the foot also. There are 3 sizes available....12", 18" and 24" widths. If your interested please email myself.

Thanks,Rick

Will the kits fade evenly over time? That is a problem with some types of plastic films for your car. You take them off and you have a two toned car.

BTW you have one for an '03 WRX? I need one for my bumper bad. A few guys locally have the 3M one from Ziebart.

Skirts can be covered also. I just finished a 2004 WRX Impreza STI that has skirts all around it just like the race rally versions. I now have a kit for this car that covers the front valance skirts, along with the hood scoop, sill plates, roof and windshield pillars. The hood, fenders, mirrors and bumper are also covered. All this was custom except for the hood and bumper so anything is possible but if custom work needs to be done than accessability to the car for patterning is a must.

Both film has UV protection to protect itself from the suns rays. You paint should fade evenly unless your a person that never polishes or waxes your cars finish. In this case you will most likely notice a difference in the uncovered paint due to the lack of polishing although it all depends on if your car is garaged or not also.

Yes there is a bumper kit for your '03 WRX......if your interested in a price please email me. I just finished an '04 WRX STI with complete kits plus custom coverage.

Nothing for that year s13,,,,,,sorry. You will have to find a local guy that does custom work. Patterning will take time unless you find a guy that will cut right on your car. Good luck.....let me know if you need any help.
