Hey, There seem to be a lot of questions about tires and wheels, snow tires, etc. I'm thinking writeup for the database, but I know nothing about tires and wheels. I wonder who does?

We actually have a forum for tire/wheels/ suspension.

But... no one ever searches around NICO..

i know the g sedan factory offset is high 40-45. where as the coupe is lower. the main difference is that the higher the offset of the wheel, the deeper in it sits in your wheel well. some cars will sit flush with +40 offset i.e. g35 sedan. while if i put coupe rims ( 30-35mm offset ) on a sedan they would poke out a little.

The reason nobody searches, it because it's easier to do a generic search for "Nissan/Infiniti + item_in_question" and get a NICO hit through google, than it is using the search button.

rn,

Wanna team up on a writeup? There's one on the main page about wheel offsets, but what we really need is a database of G35 info by year and trim. I know there are other sites that offer this, but we shouldn't have to sent people away for their info.

A sticky on factory installed tire size, optional tire size, issues that occur when mismatched sizes (front/back) are used, optional wheel sizes (with pix of member's rides).

If I had Mod, access, I would have done all of this already.
