Hello everyone. My name is Christopher A, Holloway 2nd I am owner and director of White Smoke Motorsports a race team, web store, and motorsports organization based out of Grottoes VA. The 2 cars we drift are a 1990 Nissan 240sx w/ SR20 and a 1994 Toyota Supra. We also attend drift events throughout the each year and Abigail M. Henderson our White Smoke Media Manager operates a media crew getting video footage and pictures of the events. Michael D. Prewer Jr. drives the 1990 Nissan 240SX and I Drive the 1994 Toyota Supra. Unfortunately both cars are not in track operational condition.
Drift Racing is the first racing I’ve been involved with. After going to the drag strip a few time and spectating at several different types of racing events I found drift racing to be the one that caught my attention the most. We did our first drifting at summit point motorsports park in WV. After looking for several months I found a good deal on a 1994 Toyota Supra that was in Homestead Fl. I ended up taking a flight down there picking the car up and driving it back. After driving it for several months the motor had a bad oil leak and after running at the track some I eventually took it off the street completely and purchased a JDM 2JZ-GTE Engine for it at a great deal from the guys at JSA Motors. Since then it’s been a work in progress on getting the car built. The 1990 Nissan 240S was purchased by my 2nd driver / assistant director and business partner Michael D. Prewer Jr. We picked this car up locally with a blown SR20 Engine for a great deal. We ended up going the JSA Motors for the engine we now have running in the car with a OS Giken Twin Disk Clutch 3" Dp and exhaust system and intake and is running 10PSI. The engine that was in it at the time it was purchased had a hole in the oil pan and the rod sticking out the side of the block. The head also had HKS Cams in it but it had chewed grooves in the head and the cams were damaged.
Since then we have opened a business as a motorsports organization looking for tracks with the potential of hosting drift events and promoting advertising and operating drift events at those tracks to bring drifting to new areas and give people the opportunity to either spectate or participate in the events, parking lots that will allow this type of use can also be used if large enough to accommodate the event. We are also building an online Web store and are official dealer of AMSOil products and soon Haltech and more. White Smoke Media works on getting footage of events and promote the video and pictures online through our web site, facebook and other means. You can also find us on facebook just search White Smoke Motorsports, Thank You.
